- Collected Monday and Thursday by the borough’s contractor. Put it out no earlier than 5 p.m. the night before. The borough points residents to the Recycle Coach app for details.

- Northvale doesn’t publish a bulk pickup program. Ask the borough, or call us.
- Appliances
- The DPW picks up stoves and refrigerators (doors removed). Call the DPW to arrange it.
- Branches
- Stacked inside the curb line, no longer than 12 feet, no logs or stumps. Bundle anything 3 feet and under. No branch pickup during leaf season.
- Paint, chemicals and household hazardous waste
- Bergen County Utilities Authority (BCUA) collection days, free for Bergen County residents and held several times a year in Paramus, Mahwah and Moonachie. Check bcua.org for the next date.
